www.finsreef.com, or premium aquatics carries the oceanrunners...very good pump IMO.

don't know if a needlewheel would be good for pumping up that high, backpressure really cuts into the amount of air they inject. if you want to upgrade because you want more perfromance, i'd think about swapping the nozzles with beckett heads. i'm pretty sure you can get them from MRC. and i'd probably experiment with running just one first. splitting the pressure between 2 injectors can do more harm than good unless you have a *huge* pump. a mag24 is probabaly about right to make a single beckett sing.

manderx, I was thinking about adding the needle wheel's as recerculating(sp.spell check isnt helping me out) pumps and not changing the mag or the injecters.basicly keeping it as is but adding the needle wheels

That should work. Pumps used to recirculate rather than feed have nearly 0 head pressure.

Not exactly. Although they have no pressure with respect to the ins/outs of water...they do have to suck air down the extra distance which can be tricky. With some of the bigger pumps you should be ok, but you are pushing the limit here. As an example, the AquaMedic 5000 single and twin, 6' tall, require the skimmer to be drained 1/2 way to start the air intake on the pumps... starting the pumps after the skimmer is full will result in no air intake.
