No one responded in the other forum...

I am looking for books that pertain to this hobby. Any books on coral keeping and fish keeping would be great. Any books that teach which fish are great with corals would be great too.

Basically, books that will help me understand saltwater aquariums in a much deeper level.

THANKS!!!

I pay through paypal. Would be glad to pay for a lot of books for a good price or just one good book.

Shipping to Laredo, Texas 78043.

Chris, three books come to mind right off the bat. You might want to check Amazon, because they sell used and new there.

People here are probably less prone to relinquishing their bibles, like me, lol.

First book is:

Aquarium Corals : Selection, Husbandry, and Natural History (Paperback) by Eric Borneman

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1890087483/qid=1128659123/sr=8-2/ref=pd_bbs_2/103-1346441-1213406?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

Next is: Marine Fishes: 500+ Essential-To-Know Aquarium Species (The Pocketexpert Guide Series for Aquarists and Underwater Naturalists, 1) (Paperback) by Scott Michael

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1890087386/qid=1128659216/sr=1-4/ref=sr_1_4/103-1346441-1213406?v=glance&s=books

And last but VERY FAR FROM LEAST: Reef Invertebrates: An Essential Guide to Selection, Care and Compatibilty (Paperback) by Anthony Calfo

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0967263034/qid=1128659315/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/103-1346441-1213406?v=glance&s=books

Hope this helps,
Russ

Yeah the last two are really good.
Another book that I like for a quick reference is Marine Invertebrates by Shimek, which is another "500+ Essential to Know Aquarium Species" book.

The FIRST book listed, Aquarium Corals, by Eric Borneman is actually the quintessential reefer bible. First book to set your sights on. IMO of course.

I ALWAYS buy my books on Amazon.com............

Cheaper than any other place I've found AND you can usually get some of them used (but in perfect cond.)and save a bundle.

I am checking to see where I can find this book cheaper than Amazon, Though I don't know if that is possible.

IMO the FIRST must read is "The Conscientious Marine Aquariust" by Robert M. Fenner. It goes into detail from setup to fish selection and care.
