Has anyone tried the new CV "reeflux" MH lamps? If so what do you think? Any issues? I'm looking at getting a pair for a regular lamp change.

Hi I have recently put two 400 watt over my reef and i will def be replacing with the same in a few months! We pay a bit more for them in the UK as we only have one company importing them, but the color and "glitter" lines are great and worth the extra expense. Neil

Hi Neil,
What were you using before them? BLVs? I was thinking what to use next. I have a choice of around 5 types to use. The ones from Coralculture or BLVs again.

John.

Well it looks like I'll be one of the first to try them...Thanks Neil@neyss.
BTW I don't understand why this was moved to the "new to the hobby" forum. I'm not new to the hobby, the CV "reeflux" line of lamps are...

These bulbs have been around for a little while now. See this thread.

I just went from XM 10k's to Reeflux 10k's and have been very happy so far. I personally like the color of them much more than the XM's.

There are a few pictures in that thread.

I cannot comment on growth as Ive only had them a few days. I have SE 250w bulbs on CV electronic ballasts.
