Hi everybody, happy reef keeping. I'm kind of new to the hooby, I have a 90 gallon tank with a built in overflow going into a sump underneath. In the sump is a Euro reef cs-6 skimmer. Inside the tank I have live sand and about 90 pounds of live rock. The tank has been set up about 2 weeks, and the protein skimmer has done nothing but push a lot of white foam through it, enough to keep the top floating on top of the bubbles. The people at Custom Aquatic, and Euro reef tell me this is normal, and it is just a break in period. Any insight would be great

Yes, your skimmer is just breaking in. It could take a few days or up to a few weeks. My berlin took about 2 months before it fully settled in and i figured out how to get it "just so"

yea, juss make sure all the wet foam doesnt keep pouring into the collection cup, or you'll have some water all over the floor.
