Here is a pic of my 12gal. I need to take a few more pics. I was wanting some advise as to what I should put in it. From the pic you can see that I have some Sarcos, Sinularia, and I added some Pulsing Xenia that aren't in the pic. I added the Xenia 2 days ago and took the pick about a week ago.

I also have two Ocellarus(sp). I'm taking fish advise as well.

Looking good! :) Maybe some zoos or rics to add some color variety? What kind of lighting do you have? Lighting will be the major dictator of what you can keep.

Looks like a good start. Not a fan of the sandbed. Tanks look better with a clean sandbed. Also adding a blue or black backgrond will also make the tank look alot better itself.

The sandbed is a transplant from a 10gal and a 6.5gal.
What is the best suggestion without disturbing too much of the sand and kicking up substrate?

Ya, if you get a few sandsifters like a couple nassarius snails that will help your sandbed stay cleaner. :D

The yellow sarcos are frags that I made from a larger yellow sarco that I had that would never come out.

I got a freebie about 2 weeks ago and decided to see if my clowns would play in it.
I also transplanted some Xenia from my 65gal.

I still need to do a little clean up work on the sandbed. Hope to do that this weekend. I've been a little busy. My wife had a baby last Tuesday.

Hoping to order some more corals online in the next couple of weeks.

The glass needs cleaned and the pic doesn't do the Mushes much justice.

BB typically means bare bottom. In other words no substrate at all untill various things encrust the glass. The idea being it might be easier to clean and produce lower nitrates. Lots of people use BB and lots use other substrates, just a personal preference issue.

Well it's been quite awhile since I have posted an update.

Things were busy in October with a new baby, in November with family coming in for Thanksgiving and in December with my wife and I traveling back to Indiana for the holidays. January was a month of trying to get back in the groove. The 1st 6 days of February saw my wife and I out of town again. So I have finally been able to update pics for this tank.

Here's the shot from the end of January.

The yellow sarco in the center has since been moved to my 29 gallon where it is recooperating. Not sure what has happened but as you can see this rock used to have two yellows and now has one. The smaller of the two just started to look bad and the next thing I new it was gone.

I am running one of the Current USA Fission skimmers in this tank.
Its seems to do a really good job. I am still doing a ton of playing with it.
My father in-law made me a wood canopy for this tank in January and I need to get around to moving the lights into it so I can put it on the tank.

Hope you enjoy and that I can update more frequently.
Feel free to make comments.
Thanks

Thanks, this tank is ever changing. When the cabbage coral is fully open it takes up a ton of space and will either over shadow something or be touching something. Not to mention my wife can't keep her hands out of it.
