Finger leather help please??????

Hi, I am new to corals and my first corals are a polyp and a finger leather. The finger leather is kinda lime green and tanish in color. Sometimes it looks shrinky and dull and other times it looks bright and spread out.. Is this normal what's happening i like when it's spread out it scares me when it gets dull bc it makes me think it's dead or something... Can anyone give me advice? is this normal?

Yes, it's normal the leather will most likely close up a night and when it's trying to adjust, grow, or acclimate in you tank.
