i got my new tank set up, but the water just runs out of the return line from the pump whereas before it shot out with pretty good force. i am using an iwaki wmd-30rlt and have 4 return outlets. i had always used hard plumbing before, but the dang bulkheads on these all-glass tanks have nipples on them for soft plumbing. so now i have hard plumbing going to the pump from the sump and have hard plumbing coming out of the pump with a plastic nipple to convert it to vinyl tubing. this goes into a t that splits and goes to each end of the tank to the bulkhead nipples to go up the return pipe which each split into 2 returns for a total of four. i cannot get any decent pressure to come out of these regardless of what plumbing config. i use. plumbing is not really my area of expertise, so any advice would be appreciated. i am using 3/4" inner diameter tubing and pvc. should i use wider plumbing? do i need a bigger pump? any suggestions on how i can use all hard plumbing and get rid of this vinyl stuff?

I bought a used oceanic tank that had that too. On mine there it screwed out of the bulkhead. You could see the hex part on the base of the nipple to unscrew it. I only got a low flow then after replacing it was like a cannon shooting out.

Each pump has a recommended outlet pipe size.
