Clarkii Dominance!

I have had a pair of clarkiis for a while. One had died do to gorilla crab so yesterday I got another. Well the strange thing is for the first night they both got along, but now the new one which is smaller is managing to keep my other one far away. Whats the deal, think it will stay this agressive? They have a big 13" Green carpet anemone i have had for about 4 months. and also on the oppisite side of the tank a 5" Bubble Tip anemone. But the new one guards them both, it just doesn't make sence.

Doesn't anyone know if the new clown might lighten up?

Which clown died, the larger or smaller one? How long ago did the other clown die?

What can you tell us about the new clown? Did it come from a community tank with lots of Clarkii or jsut 1 or 2? It is possible that you have added a smaller female to a larger male's tank. Or you may have 2 females. If the former you'll probably be fine over time. If the latter you'll have to get rid of one of them.
