Icecap 660 & 8 T-5's?

Can an Ice cap 660 run 8 48in. T5's? I will probably use 4 250 MH's on my 8ft tank and use the T5's as actinics.

I think the 660 can only run like 4 48in. bulbs...I like the t5 blue+ bulb for suppement. some examples are found in the gallery at this site www.captiveoceans.com

If you just want actinic vho may be the way to go.

You will need two 660's to run that many bulbs. 16 feet of bulbs is the maximum for the 660.

If you are using it for actinics only, then definitely run URI Super Actinics. The T-5 actinics just arent there yet.

Just so you know...Thats ALOT of actinic too btw...having 4 bulbs per 4ft dedicated soley to actinic is TON of actinic. I hope your looking for a very blue looking tank.....I also hope your not going with any MH bulb above 10k. You could probably even run 6500k ushio with that much actinic and still look good.

I was going to run XM 10K, and after researching that is alot of T5, I will probably stick with VHO.
