i read somewhere on here that a 1 inch overflow can only drain at around 600 gph
well heres my issue i have a hob overflow that has a 1 inch drain but i want to avoid powerheads at all cost (with the exception of a single mj 600 behind the rock work) so my thought was after looking at the overflow i may be able to add a 3/4 inch bulkhead in beside the 1 inch thats already there but it will be a tight squeeze
how much more flow will this allow me to add to the tank
my overflow is not the U tube type it is the other type that requires an aqualifter to maintain siphon i got it real cheap off ebay
