I bet the ammonia reading is a bit off.. Most likely it is still zero. A link to the original thread would be cool. :D

Sounds like a useable product for nano's, but the price comparasion from before would probably turn many off. I am sure a lower price would = increased sales.

Yeah the cost on this stuff is prohibitively expansive if you ask me. Plus I really question all those big claims, there are alot of snake oil salesman in this industry.

ber very careful how fast you change your Specific gravity....

your corals will not like that very much, espically going from 1.025 to 1.028, ideally you should go very very very slow in changing your SG.

I changed the SG in the container,I regularly keep my SG,@ 1.025,so I made the water in the container 1.025 by adding 1/2g of RO/DI water, then i put it in my tank. Thanks for the heads up though.

You never tested for Ca, KH or PO4. Those parms IMO are just as important as the others.

Can you test those as well?

I'm curious if the NSW is at .028 and should we be having our tanks at this level?

Like i posted in the thread i added 1/2g of RO/DI,which brought down the SG to 1.025.Thanks for the heads up though.

Actually,,,,,,,probably. I keep mine at 1.026-1.027 or I try anyway. I keep drifting down though.

What is the alk in dkh or meq/l that is how most sps reefers understand Alk?

Also what did you use to test calcium and po4?

Hmm, if they'd sell it in 35 or 50 gallon barrels, I'd be interested, Maybe pay a deposit on the barrel like I do my culligan water bottles, or my beer keg

10g is the biggest that my LFS has,but it doesn't mean that you cant get 30-or 40g tubs. Here is a link to the distributor.

dKH or meq/L are measurements of alkalinity, kind of like how ppm is for Calcium. Alk (or KH) is very important if you are keeping SPS.

Not trying to flame ya or anything, but if you didnt know what these measurments stood for I really think you might want to re-think doing sps.

Take care.
