I have a question. I read on some sites that it recommends you protect your retrofit lights from moisture and water or the warranty will be voided. Are you guys using any "protection" around your lights? Such as a sheet of glass or are you using a glass cover for your aquarium or are you going with nothing covering your lights? Thanks.

heres mine i put on my 55 with four 4' vho's

i mounted the ballast right on the back of it so all i have to do is unplug it and lift it right off my tank so everything is open.

Mine is an open top Canopy.

You can see the way the bulbs are mounted inside along with the ballasts.

You can see the bungy cords on top, I have screws mounted inside the canopy, just hang it up to work in the tank.

BTW, the reflector was moved off the top for photo purposes.
