i have got all sorts of dust like clumps on my sand and on some fo my live rock........ what is it ????and how do i fix it?????

Can you give us a clue as to what it looks like ?

The description sounds like detritus, basically a collection of debris including fish waste, uneaten foods, and other decaying matter. It is easily removed by siphoning. :)

Increase flow to keep the detritus suspended and removed by your filtration and/or siphon out the rest.
