UV Steralizers

If I run a UV steralizer on my reef setup mostly it should kill most of the Desieses. Is there any that you know of that will get past the steralizer?

If the bulb is kept clean, you have the right water flow, a large enough UV unit and the bulb is new enough then it can kill some of the parasites and a lot of bacterial in the water. The problem is that UV is not a reliable cure for ich, because the parasite will attach to the fish before it goes through the UV unit. A simple quarantine tank kept cycled and running at all times is a better investment.
