I just recieved a new KH/Alk Test kit today and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to have or do.
Water Parameters
PH-8.2
Ammonia-0
Nitrate-0
Nitrite-0
Cal-450
KH-10.2
Alk-3.66
Is my KH/Alk to high/low ? What is the best range and what do I add to lower or raise? I also assume raise means to go higher in numbers. TIA

you are right where you want to be. Most reefers try to keep their alkalinity between 10 and 12 dKH (which equates to ~3.6 to 4.25 meq/L). Don't get confused by the two different units used to report alkalinity, just be sure to know which one you are talking about or which one someone is telling you about.

Also, your pH and Ca are right on, too. If you can maintain these parameters you should have success with you tank.
