I have questions about Maracyn-Two....

The instructions say this:

1st Day, add 2 tablets per 20 gal of water
2nd-5th day, add 1 tablet per 20 gal of water
Repeat this 5 day treatment only once, if needed.

Questions...

1) Does this mean that if I do not do a water change, that I still add more tablets daily to the same water?

2) If I do water changes, does that mean that I add enough M-2 to bring the water change water up to the right concentration of medication and still add the 1 tablet per 20 gallons every day?

I suggest making a water change each day before adding the next dose, and using the double dose suggested for the first day EACH day for at least 7 days.

Terry-

You suggest using the doubled amount on all days, and not just on the first day, correct?

Also, is there a Maracyn 2 that is for slatwater? I couldn't find any except for the freshwater version. Is this okay?

Yes there is a Maracyn-Two for saltwater (marine)..but its harder to find. Dr Fosters and Smith has it.

Yes, the double dose for a minimum of 7 days. The saltwater formula is preferrable because it contains B vitamins that are important to digestion during treatment.
