I would like to use Marshall Island Rock and Tonga Branch for the main rock in my aquarium. I would like to use a cheaper rock for base rock, but I don't want dead base rock.

Would Haitain Live Rock Be suitable for this?

Thanks!

You could probably use any live rock for base rock. Might be better than using "dead rock"

I bought the Haitian and it is quality 'stuff'. Comes with quite an un-cured stench, but that's workable.

Use chunks of concrete.
