What watt VHO bulbs?

I have a 55 gal. w/ 3-VHO's. Needs new bulbs...What VHO bulbs are recommended( watt & color).

Not much in there but 1-yellow tang, & mushrooms

Looking to get some corals... Anybody have a suggestion on which types of corals that I could get w/ that lighting?

Hey there, nice to see another in-towner on RC. (I work at B&B, name's Andrew). Anyway, I would recommend four 110 watt VHO. My personal preference is URI (or UV now) tubes, though others will work. Specifically, I use two actinic white and two superactinic R bulbs (on my 75).

If you ever need advice, go see Andrew, he'll never steer you wrong. You said you have only 3 bulbs, will your ballast not support 4. If not I would go with 2 whites and one blue.
