what do i do when the power goes out?

i have a 55g that ive had for about a year and i need to put a sump and a fuge in and what i want to do is take 2 10g tanks, 1 sump, and 1 fuge, but was wondering when the power goes out, what will i do, because if im not there when it goes out my sump and fuge will over flow.
what do i do?

Is your tank drilled or do you have an overflow?

you need to set it up, so if that does happen, you leave enuf space for that extra water to drain into your sump. HTH's

well my tank night now is all scratched and its acrilyc, and if i get the scratches out ill drill in, but if i get a new glass im going to build a built-in-overflow.
