My water is like this:

80 degrees high
78 degrees low

PH 8.3
Ammonia 0.0
Nitrite 0.0
Nitrate 10 - 15
Salinity 1.026

The Blenny was added Saturday, Died on Wednesday. He was eating algee in tank and Spirnila flakes.

I noticed heaving "breathing" Tuesday, he was dead Wednesday.

Looking at the body, no signs of ICH or other issues, although hermit crabs had eaten his gills so I could not see if they were ok looking.

I have a six-line and a maroon clown that are both fine and show no signs of distress.

The Blenny was purchased at a LFS, and was in the same tank as the six-line.

thoughts?

Could have had internal parasites... might have just been a stress thing. Probably nothing you did.
