What type of lighting was it in when you got it?

it was on the bottom of the finger leather tank at the LFS

under 2 pc actinics strip and a metal halid DE i belive one of those fixtures it looks sortal ike this

so maybe it just needs longer time? feed fish every other day and feed the tank 2 times a week coralife invertebrate gumbo or something like that should i be feeding it something else instead?

Well, if it were me, I'd move it up in the tank...if it came from MH lighting and then is at the bottom of a tank with just PC's, that's a big difference in lighting. I have many of my leathers midway up in my 90 gallon under MH lighting. HTH

Leathers can close up for some time, especially after moving. I wouldn't worry too much. Give it a week to get acclimated to your system.

They often stay closed until they acclimate to the system. I would move it to midlevel and give it some time.

well i moved him up to about a little above half height in the tank ... however he seems to be in to much current is that possible?

They like to be blown around a little in turbulent waters, not pushed over to one side.
