Need a fast answer plz!

i have a 20g reef and i have a 38 with water, livesand and live rock. i plan to use the same penguin 300 biowheel. a good portion of the water is from the 20g.

do i once again need to let the aquarium mature?

A little more info is needeed ,are you are asking about transferring what's in the 20 gal in to the 38 gal??? Or starting a new tank iin the 38??? are you running 2 tanks on the same filtration system???

I would do some ammonia tests for a few days, and that should tell you what's happening. Is the live rock newly-bought?

If you only are moving LR from tank X to tank Y then not much aging is needed. I still would give things a week or two to settle down.

its an entirely new tank but im consolidating tank x into tank y

You should be able to transfer most everything from tank x to tank y.

How old is tank x? Your sand may cause some problems as it can kick up a lot of harmful particles when moving it.
