bristle worm, normally very good for your tank. There is a harmful variety but they are not all that common, I would let him be

cool. just making sure. I am getting ready to startup my 180 and did not want to transfer anything that could be a hazard in the future.

They live in the rock and substrate. I read where a normal live rock may have 20,000 of these in it. Point being, wear gloves when working with your rock or inside the tank. These litttle guys can cause some discomfort if you touch them. (due to the "bristles")
