getting my first fish on saturday :D :D :D
cant wait.

my question is, i happy with the LR i have at the moment but can i add cured LR later on.

I think that kind of depends on your definition of "cured" and just how much you add. If you get LR from a local friend that's been in their tank for a year and you transport it to your house in saltwater and immediately place it in the tank, no biggie. However, if you order "cured" LR online and it gets to your house in a couple of days packed in a box and rather dry, then that might be something else. That rock is going to cycle and kind of depends on how much of that new rock you put in vs how much of the die off your current rock can handle as to how things will fare in your tank. If you go the online ordering route and it's a fairly significant amount of rock, might want to cure it in a separate container before putting it in your display.
