Is my Coral beauty territorial?

I only had a true perc, dottyback and a flame scallop in my tank when I got my coral beauty. He's really freaked out. I was thinking if he's territorial, perhaps if I rearranged my rocks, he could pick out his own space??? Maybe he'll chill out a little...

It's a small tank (29g), but I don't have anything agressive or territorial... but I have seen the CB chase my true perc once...

Here's some pics of the little guy and my rocks

i think that is normal for angels he is just letting him know hi.. im bigger.. and stay out of my way... chances are in three days they will be swimming next to each other. i wouldnt worry unless you see fins nipped on the clown. corals beauties are awesome fish. i had mine in a 29 also. its funny in the lfs they dont look that great but under good lighting they are really neat.. good choice.

Every Coral Beauty I've ever had has been moderately territorial (more so against othe Centropyge angels, and worse against those of like coloration). I've never housed them with a perc, but had no problem with a maroon. They generally like to have their own space/cave. I've also never had them in a tank smaller than 100.

markandkristen ==

BAD color on the camera.. he is purple-ish blue, depending on the way the light hits him... but has beatiful colorings... cute little yellow fipper fins... red belly and red mouth that looks like a tongue when he's picking algae off the tank wall...

Sorry about the trip to the fish store... he is a cutie, though

Thanks for the advice...
