Eel wont eat

For the past few days. I cant seem to get my snowflake eel I just got to eat. I tried squid and brime shrimp. Ive had no luck. He wont come out of his hole and will only eat food that floats into him which inst much. Any Ideas?

you should be trying to feed him silversides or krill on a skewer placed close to him. you may have to wiggle it to make it look alive until you get him used to it. they should be appropriately sized to the eel.

I feed my eel squid and he loves it. It may take a few days before yours starts to eat.

Go with the krill. After 5 years of testing tons of things, krill is the only thing that has worked for me on a consistent basis.

Yeah krill definetly works, I have even fed feeder goldfish and mine loved it. Not on a regular basis since they are really fatty.
