Hi, just in case someone does not know I have found test strips for saltwater. It is a 5 in 1 test

hardness
alkalinity
nitrate
nitrite
name drand is Mardel it is about $12.99 you may be able to get it cheaper. Life made a little easier.:D Patty

But are they accurate??? and easy to read???
Sometimes you get what you pay for--
I have no opinion on that brand (but I'm sure someone on here does)...

I was told my the owner that is what he uses and I can say he does I carried water from my tank and that is how I found out about them, he used them to test my water. He said they are very good, had to have them.Patty

yes very easy to read and faster than the drop test.

HEy, Patty... you gotta be able to test for ammonia, too. Do you have a separate test kit for ammonia???

yes they also come in test strips I was not able to get any today they were out, but I will. Did a test on my water, with strips and the drops and got the same reading on nitrate,ph, also easy to read took 60 sec. Blessing to you my friend and thanks.
