the 37 gallon is a eclipse (dont say it)

i have a magnum 350 that works well on it

going to get the aqua c remora

ok on lighting it has a 65 watt on their now pc

i am thinking of going with either an additional 110 watt 2x55
that will fit where the existing eclipse gutts are (taking out the filter and etc.) making it a total of 4.5 watts per gallong
can i keep any type of clams in thier like the maxima( i believe thats what you call it )
i know some will only make it with m h.s

I would say no on most clams.

Perhaps a crocea high in the rocks if you find one that isnt picky

Agreed. Derasas are also supposed to be rather low-light clams.

Mark, don't get too wrapped up on the WPG formula, as a general rule it may work, but it depends on tank dimensions too, and is not infallible.

That 37g is like the one I have, its the 37g tall. That is pretty deep. If you added the retro PC kit to it, maybe the lower level clam mid level would be okay
