Hi all,

Thanks, and yeah, 3 million rotifers consume a lot of phyto!

If I perfect this, I'm gonna need a market! This was a small hatch. CCTV's clowns usually lay a bigger nest! I am greatful for the size it is. Very manageable.

Was that Mr or Mrs Saltyunderground? That would be Mrs. Salty. Mr. Salty does not like fish very much.

Are the parents the Percs that used to belong to Big Red?

You'll have to ask CCTVReef, but these are A. ocellarus

CCTVReef

They did not come from Big Red. I obtained these as "tank raised" juveniles from CPE in Nov. 1999. They were about 3/4" long when I got them. They started egg laying a couple years ago.

Oh, so Jan takes them at 3/4 inch, so maybe it would be OK to sell them at that length.

Hey--waiting for more baby pics!

Thanks for your interest. I am waiting for more time. It is hard to raise children and clownfish simultaneously!
i'm taking pictures, just have to have time to cull thru them and resize for this forum. Perhaps this weekend....

At least 3 of the babies have tiny white headbands, a sure sign of metamorphosis. They will be hardier after metamorphosis than before, but during, they are at risk. I do hope they all make it!

I can't take pictures now. I am afraid of disturbing them. They are like teenagers now. You can't mess with them or they will explode!

See you tomorrow!
Kathy
