I get the impression that under the proper conditions that a BTA will grow to massive proportions. I'm looking to add one to my tank but from what I'm hearing if these grow THAT fast, I'm not sure it's for me.

Any info on these would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks>

Under the right conditions, yes, BTAs grow fast. There are two types of BTAs: splitters and nonsplitters.

The nonsplitters will just keep growing and get really big.
The splitters wont get too big because they will just keep splitting.

Some people like to get splitters, specially if you are dealing with a rose anemone. If you know the history of the anemone you are getting, you will know if you are getting a splitter or not.

Speaking of BTAs, do you still have the little one you got from me? Do you want another small BTA when you visit? I have one about 1-1/2" in diameter in the prop tank just waiting for a good home.

Griss,

Thank you but I am gonna pass. I am expecting the one you gave me to start splitting very soon plus I am also adding a Rose Anemone that I will be getting soon.

Thank you for the offer.
