Hello All,

Just stopped in at Jack's on the West Side and found that they have a Shark Egg(Bamboo Cat Shark) for sale. They are asking $33.99 for it.
I just don't see them carrying who they sell it to. Hope the little baby get a good home.

AA had one too during their sale. Jack's at Graceland has had them too. I think it's fairly irresponsible of them to carry them, and they should only be available special order to those with tanks big enough for them and enough filtration for them. Obviously though, making money is more important.

that one has been there for about a month. the last two they had were bought by my dad and the other by my uncle. both were already dead when purchased.

Wonder if they know they cannot be exposed to the air? Lord knows the shipping alone would be a great deal of stress on the eggs to begin with!

plus they have them laying on the bottom with low flow.

shark eggs must hang verticly with a good bit of flow for them to survive

The ones they have at the Eastons Jacks it attached to a feeding clip in there tank with a note that says do not let air touch the shark egg. I am just glad to see that the Brice Rd Jacks is moving!

The one they had at AA was on a feeding clip also on the side of the tank. The pair of eggs the Graceland Jack's had a while ago were sitting on the bottom, but you could tell they were alive, as you could see the baby shark moving around inside.

It's sad to see a new life doomed from the get go. I wish there was some way they could regulate who get's to sell life.
