Anyone have a good suggestion for a replacement hood for a 46bow tank?

My wish is that it fit behind the Super-Flex Hinge.

I want to get two 36" actinics and one MH.

TIA,
Steve

I have a 54 bow. Bows make very appealing tanks IMO but pose many difficulties. I don't think any of the tank manufacturers make hoods for their bow tanks. If you are handy making one is probably your best option. (That is the route I am taking, but woodworking is my trade) Unfortunatley makeing the curve for the front takes some woodworking know-how. You could always have one custom built for you, but it will be pricey. $500.- $1500. depending on details.

bioreef.com in jacksonville built mine for 150 and shipped it to MI for 97 dollars. search for my thread on selling the tank for a picture.

I had a simliar problem with my 58 flat- back hex tank. I decided to go without a hood and bought a 400 watt MH/PC horizontal pendant. Very nice when you have to work inside the tank.
