Was working in one of the prop tanks, and ran across this hitchiker. Its an abolone snail. Went in the 300 this afternoon. :cool:

He's a couple inches long now. Might double in size, but thats about it. Some species can get 8"+. I posted in Dr Rons forum for an ID. There is a link there to an article about them.

Sweet Zep! That is a nice hitchhiker!
At the CBus swap last year. I picked up a "rock" of blue mushrooms and after I got it acclimated the rock moved!
I took a closer look and the shrooms were growing on a spiny oyster. It lived for about 6 months in my tank.
