Nice pics Porky..... although, I was attempting to color correct one of them when I started to see something subtly hidden in there? I don't know what to tell you, but my research has unfolded some other organisms in the mix:

Well Jason,
Symphyllia - Characters: Colonies are hemispherical to flat. Valleys are 12-15 millimetres wide, and are highly sinuous. Polyp walls have a moderately thick fleshy appearance and usually have a groove along the top. Colour: Brown, grey or green, either mottled or with walls and valleys of contrasting colours. Similar species: Symphyllia radians, which has larger and less sinuous valleys. Habitat: Upper reef slopes and fringing reefs. Abundance: Common.

Here is a link to the pics and ref:
Symphyllia Pic (http://whelk.aims.gov.au/coralsearch/html/301-400/Species%20pages/348.htm)

Eventhough not blue-grey, this seemed to be the closest match:

Lobophyllia robusta
Characters: Colonies usually consist of a few corallites but may become large and hemispherical. Corallites are large, phaceloid and mostly monocentric. Septa have tall sharp teeth. Polyps are thick and fleshy, with a rough surface. Colour: Blue-grey, sometimes with pale valley floors or septo-costae. All corallites of the same colony have the same colour

Taken from same website

WOW! What a cool site Andy! Thanks!
Lots of good info, I'll have to mark is as a favorite!
You may be right.
About the only Symp. that is even close is the Valenciennesii

The description of Lobo robusta certainly fits

I dunno Andy seems like when I'm in doubt on my favorite corals they always default to Lobophyllia of some kind...

Nice corals, even though they are not of the colored stick variety:D

Ya, I'd put that one as a lobo also. I got a couple in that look almost identical. Both were tagged as lobos.

Thanks Lar, after reading some info on the link Andy posted I am leaning more toward Lobophyllia robusta!
I always enjoy a good ID discussion :)

id say a lobo as well. but it doesnt really take away from the piece. lobophyllia can hold amazing hughs and id say youve got a good example of that. SCORE!
