Does anyone know if a MH ballast will affect a TV (like a magnet will)? I just got a 250-watt ballast for my 12-gal and there is no place to put it except on the same shelf as the TV but I am afraid it will screw up the TV.
How long do you have your cycle for a 250-watt 12K? and how long does a 12K bulb last? I was planning to start off with 6 hours and increase 1 hour every week until I got to 12 hours. This light will replace 4 40-watt VHOs.
