I would pass on the caulerpa and get some chaetomorphia. More effective with orthophosphate removal and won't attatch to anything or go asexual.

I keep caulerpa and chaeto in my refugium with reverse lighting. I also snip off pieces of both, and feed to my Tang and Foxface.
