I bought this pump to use on a DIY protein skimmer that I never actually built. I plugged it in just long enough to see that it worked.
It uses a needlewheel similar to the Sedra pumps used on Euroreef skimmers. It produces tons of very fine bubbles with the included venturi attachment.
Pump includes all parts: venturi, hose adapters, box, instructions, etc. It makes a great DIY skimmer pump or upgrade for Bakpaks and smaller skimmers at 265gph. $25 including shipping from SC 29205. Thanks
