I was at Home Depot tonight and got some eggcrate. While I was there, I saw they had this stuff called "Play Sand", made by Quickrete. Is that The same as Southdown/Tropical Play Sand?

If so, I'm going back, they've got quite a few pallets of it right now. (Langhorne)

nope. sorry. The sand you want is called tropical play sand, it is made by old Castle. the quick crete stuff is moslty silica.

The Tropical Sand is usually in gardening vs. with the concrete stuff (at least in the two HD's I have seen it). Do you want me to check the stores in Willow Grove and Cheltenham when we are out and about for you?

Thanks for the heads up! Good thing I asked before buying.

GettingFiesty: please do let me know if you see it. I didn't see any other sand at the Langhorne HD. I'll take a drive down to the bensalem/woodhaven one this weekend.

I know when I was looking for it, it was the one by Oxford Circle in Philly that had it, BUT it was the middle of winter and I didn't want to wait.

Will look this weekend.
