I'm sure these are difficult to answer questions but I would like to upgrade the lighting on my 75G tank. I'm not into keeping SPS "right now" but have not ruled anything out. Mainly I'd like to keep some brains and a few softies.

Right now I have 2 of the 48" 4x65W Coralife running. I just cant seem to match the coloration that the corals have at the LFS I purchase from. For example, greens just dont show up very virbrant in my tank. While the same piece in his practically glows.

I also noticed in one of his tanks he has a sweet shimmering effect. I want that!!

So money not being a concern what should I do?

I was thinking about this setup..

Will this improve the coloration and give me the shimmering I'm looking for?

none of the lights in those links are going to give a shimmering effect. you should look into metal halides if thats what your after.
