Is there a major difference in terms of PAR or light output or intensity between 55/65Watt PC and 96Watt PC?
Just looking at the wattage, 96Watt seems to be intense but if you have use both, 55/65Watt PC and 96 Watt PC, did you notice a major difference?
Do anybody know how deep 55/65Watt PC and 96Watt PC can penetrate?

i do not think PC's penetrate too deeply.
i have both 96 and 65w on my tank.. i do not really notice much difference in light output from either of the two..i think the 96w bulb is a bit older though, so perhaps a newer bulb would be more intense..

Thanks Tom for your input. Anybody else has any experience with these lights?

I have the 36" 96w coralife lunar aqualight (it has 96w actinic and 96w 10k daylight for a total of 192w) on my 30 gallon. ( this is 6.4w per gallon) It is roughly 17" from the bottom of the tank. I have had the light for about 2 years. I have lots of soft corals, (xenia, gsp, mushrooms, zooas, leather, kenya tree, flower pot, and button polyp) 2 anemones, (sebae, and a rock anemone) Some lps, (hammer and frogspawn) and a derasa clam. all are very healthy. I dont know what size tank you would put it on, but the 96w defititly works for me. I dont know about the light penetration, but at 17" everything is healthy.
