I recently replaced 2 power compact ballasts. I don't think I made any changes iin the wiring as I just swapped things out. Since then I've added a GFCI for saftey, but the ballasts always cause a trip.

Would someone be willing to look at my wiring and let me know if something is obviously wrong?

Here's a thumbnail that and a <a href=http://www.zoyzoy.com/aquarium/ballast%20wiring.jpg>link to a big hi-res version....</a>

Many thanks,
Jeff

Its common for electronic PC ballasts to trip GFCIs. Just plug it into an outlet thats not GFCI protected.

U probabaly dont have it grounded correctly, i would check that firts, remember even the outside of the ballast and the light reflector should be grounded
