I'm looking to get one setup, are there any places to get one cheap locally or online recommendations?

Just came across that page, does it come with wiring instructions or do I have to figure that one out myself?

I got 4 switches from them and they were real easy to wire. It is pretty basic. Split one wire of the two that go to your pump and connect one wire of the float switch to one end and the other wire from the floatswitch to the other wire. That makes no sense. Basically you are putting the float switch inline with the pup wiring. If you are going to be at Saturday's meeting I can draw it for you. It is very easy, just difficult to explain.

I do have an extra one that I got from Seand.

Well I went ahead and bought two from the site. I think I see what you're talking about it wiring, and it should be easy for me to figure out anyway.

I hope to make it Saturday, I might even splurge and finally buy the membership.

Same switches I use.

Keep in mind those switches are only rated for 50 watts. Basically a small powerhead - nothing larger without a relay.

I will only be using it on a Mag 2. I believe those are around 25W?

I ordered 2, might make an auto-topoff with the other.

OK, so I just wired it up to my Mag 2...plugged it in and BOOM. Blew the circuit. Guess that's why I'm not in electrical engineering.

Does it matter which of the two wires you put the switch inline with?
