I'm just setting up my first salt water tank. It's a 110l Juwel, and I've clamped the skimmer to the side as per instructions.
Man, does it make noise! Two kinds: The main one being a VERY loud hum from the pump, and a second noise comes from the bubbling. The second I (read wife) can probably live with, the first must be stopped!
I will try to change the the connecting plastic tube from the pump to the box with some flexible rubber tubing from Eheim, but I haven't got high hopes....
Anyone with any ideas to what might be the problem? Even better what might be a nice easy fix? If I use a long bit of tubing for the connection, I could maybe place the pump in a corner where the tank is structurally stiffer?
