It matters what you think quiet is I would guess, the sedra on my g3 makes noise, not alot mind you but it makes noise, it is a low humming sound. My new mag 18 makes almost no noise at all amazingly enough.

thanks a lot...you guys are awesome. i ordered the asm g-1 for my 36gal bowfront in my dormroom. it might be a little powerful but im really excited!
