Starboard and faux sandbed questions

I'm thinking of doing a faux sandbed in my new tank using Envirotex epoxy with sand on pieces of starboard. I know some people in the club have done this, how did it turn out? Also, are there any local places to buy the cutting board from or did you mail order it? Thanks for the help.

I went and picked up the Starboard at US Plastics.

Mail ordered the Envirotex. I bought too much, I have some unopened bottles I will sell you if you want.
