I just bought a 200mg/hr RedSea Ozonizer.
Now I am concerned it may screw up my tank entirely.
My tank is 400GL + 150GL sump.
I will connect it to my H&S A200-1260X2.
Is it possible to kill all livestock with such small unit?

Possible? Sure.
Probable? No.
Be sure to buy either an ORP monitor or controller before usage.

I notice a shrap drop in skimate production after linking the ozone.
I thought it is suppose to increase the performance of skimmer?Should I tune the water level higher in the skimmer? (H&S A200-1260X2)
Also I can smell ozone around the skimmer area, is it normal? Is this dangerous?

icliao,

Did you add a tee where the Ozone enters the venturi line of the skimmer and an air pump behind the air dryer? I noticed the same thing after adding ozone. I run a similar skimmer (Deltec) and realized that the skimmer was being starved for air without the Tee. Once I addded it, skimmate production returned to normal however, it was now darker and smelled more.

Thanks.
Good idea. I will add a T and see what happens.
