Yeah I have been shopping for protein skimmers and have found some good deals on euro reef skimmers but am a little confused about the different models.
The models I am looking at are:

ES5-20
RS5-20
CS5-20

I managed to find information about the RS and CS models on euroreefs website but can't seem to find out what the ES model is. Can anyone explain the differences of these 3 models?

Thanks!

Jay

I have kept researching and cannot find any information on the ES series of protein skimmers. Can anyone help. I can get a brand new es5-20 for $186 but i wanna find out about it first.
The cs-520 is $229 so what is the difference?

I thought the ES series was an older economy line, replaced by the RS. The RS and CS series are described at www.euro-reef.com.

I think the ES model is the same as the ASM skimmers. I have a CS6-1 right now and I am waiting for my CS8-2 to be delivered. I perfer the CS line to the ASM skimmers, but that is just me. If you don't go with the CS line just get an ASM, they are a little cheaper.

I'm not an ER fan. Their customer service is second to ALL. The cost of thier skimmers and replacement stuff is out of this world.

I'm replacing my ER skimmer with a Geo.
