Reef Devil driving me nuts!

I've searched through several posts and followed their advice but I can't get this freakin reef devil to skim. I've had it for a few months now. Corals and water parameters are fine.

what size tank, how often do you feed, how many fish? I go periods of days without skimming anything, then all of a sudden the cup is full.

I got a 75 gallon, five fish, I feed once a day. What kind of skimmer do you have?

I used a reef devil on my 75 for about 1 year, it worked really well with the mag 7. I had the water level just at the riser so the whole riser was foam, it skimmed a dark skimmate, not too wet.
