Ok so I came home last night and my huband asks me to look at the gramma because it's nose looks funny. Every time I got close enough to get a good look it would get spooked and run away. What I did see when it would let me was what looked like clear spikes or long bristles. It doesn't look like ich or velvet. I did pick up some new corals this weekend (candy cane and clove polyps). Any ideas of what could have happened? It is still eating and acting normal. Thanks in advance!

I'm definately not a fish expert, but I thought I heard once that grammas will eat bristle worms? Could he have gotten poked when snacking? Just a thought, but like I said, my fish knowledge is limited to 1) They can swim and 2) They don't like it when you take them out of the water, so take it for what its worth.

I was thinking bristleworms but I wasn't sure if anyone had had this happen to thier fish.
