I am planning a big tank and want to use 1000W MH lamps, but I cannot find any bulbs that are over 10K in temp. Idealy I would like to get lamps between 14K and 20K. Has anyone found these?

Ushio has a 1000W SE Colorlite "Blue" that is approximately 20kK. UHI-S1000BL is the part number.

Biologically at least :)

The forum doesn't want me to promote selling by any particular vendor, but...

Contact any of the guys who sell Ushio brand lamps and they can get you some on a special order. They're in stock here in CA so you should only be looking at most 2 weeks for someone to get them from me and ship them to you.
